HI THERE, I'm Rachel. I spend far too much time procrastinating, and too little working. I listen to music pretty much non-stop, and probably know lyrics to more embarrassing songs than I realise. I'm a sucker for romance; a bit of Carol Ann Duffy or E.E. Cummings and I'm done for.

My life is basically one big Brendon Urie perv. I'm the kind of person who deliberates for hours over what colour iPod to buy. I really, really like shoes. And dresses. There are wayyy too many books on my 'to read' list. I drink golden syrup from the bottle & consume more caffeine than is probably healthy for one person.

I live for nights out with white wine and elbow dancing, followed by bleary mornings and bacon sandwiches. Sitting outside in the sun with a Palahniuk and a glass of beer is what it's all about right now :) The onset of summer has made the future seem that much nearer. I'm nervous - nay, terrified! - but I can't wait. I should probably broaden my cooking skills beyond toasties and omelettes. A diet of tea and marshmallows will not get me through uni.
My journal is an eclectic mix of pictures, music, rants about real life and general fangirl squee.

Where possible, I neglect to dress myself and instead choose to spend as many days as I can ensconced in bed with sugary snacks, my MacBook and as much fanfiction as I can get my greedy little hands on.

Many hours are spent in the company of these boys (via the medium of CD/DVD/gigs/fanfic, of course):



Aside from Panic, I also enjoy Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Heroes, Life on Mars, Torchwood and have recently found myself becoming distressingly addicted to Gossip Girl.

I'm an English student, though I know it's hard to tell from the way I write this. I have my moments of eloquence; the rest of the time, I type just as I talk. This is a journal after all. I do enjoy 'meeting' new people and finding others who share my obsessions. I may not be the best or most reliable commenter in the world, but you can be sure I read your journal and know a little about your life, even if we haven't spoken for a while. Oh yes, BE VERY AFRAID.

As you can probably tell, I'm generally just a little bit ridiculous.
